This is the most critical point all the HP'ers and IBM'ers are missing and the key to CPQ's edge. How they are going to keep those #'s going forward into the more service intensive workstation & enterprise end will be a challenge.

Along the same line, what do you think of Computer Associates server software? They indicate 1997 net income/employee at $104, and printed it on page one of their annual report, which impressed me.
