"I missed that. I am afraid to ask.....what is the relationship between RR and terrorism? I thought she was a food expert."
Apparently, she is pimping for Dunkin' Donuts.
Now, to digress for a moment, unbeknownst to virtually everyone else, but nothing misses our eagle eye 101st, there is a vast liberal conspiracy to breed support for terrorism. Their latest nefarious scheme is to infiltrate the fashion world and push "hate couture". At the forefront of this nefarious campaign is that patterned towel that Arafat made popular. I am sure you've noticed how often it shows up on the fashionable.
Well, ok. I haven't. However, admittedly, fashion isn't my thing.
But, I really digress. It is a sign of how subtle the campaign is that no one has noticed but our valiant defenders of the Purity of Our Bodily Fluids. Who, you know, don't actually go outside. Someone with a seatbelt extender could jump them.
Apparently, RR was accessorized by her wardrobe person with a shawl that bore little resemblance to said towel. In fact, it is described as a paisley print. Paisley print, keffiyeh, who cares? If not Palestinian militants, then she clearly was signaling her support of the Hippy movement.
And we all know how that turned out.
In the Hall of Mirrors, they all raised up on their hind legs and let out a mighty roar. No doubt, also bitterly complaining that the MSM was ignoring this important threat to The Republic. Personally, I think they had a point. My fondest dream is that the MSM picks up on more of these example of the nutjobs in the 101st.
A man can dream.
"When people like Murdoch are talking about throwing their support behind Obama, you know things in the GOP are reaching a nadir."
Whatever else you can say about Murdoch, and there are volumes that can be printed, he doesn't back a losing hand.
When the rats start jumping, the ship is going down. And there is no bigger rat than Murdoch. He has been signaling for the past couple of years that he was looking for a lifeboat. This pretty much caps it.
Remember when I told you I was seeing signs that the tide was receding? This, like the special elections, finalizes the deal. The GOP got their fondest dream, they were handed the keys to the country. What was the result? They proved to be even worse than the Democrats at their worst moments.
And they didn't even have the excuse that they fossilized over the decades. They hit the ground running with the corruption and other trappings of power.
As you noted, they will be lucky to remain as a regional party. |
