I really tried not to comment, but here we are again at the beginning of the "Never Ending Story". People abuse food. (fat people) People abuse sex. (sex addicts) People abuse work. (workaholics) People abuse power. (child/spouse abuse, Congress) People abuse money. People abuse drugs. Draw your own conclusions as to where the focus might be most useful. ARS And just as an aside, if you use a bowl of ice cream to make yourself feel better, or go buy a new pair of shoes when you're feeling blue, you are exhibiting the same problem. And then the conversation devolves into the 'yeah but, it's not illegal (circular) or it's not harmful (nonsense). Edit: I posted this to you by mistake. I intended to just post it, to nobody in particular.
