How could it sputter when it never existed? What happened to those high tech greenhouses that American investors carefully handed over to the Pals in 2005? Did anybody even try to grow a crop in them? No, they were trashed.

And before blaming Israel for its unaccountable (in this telling) desire to keep control of Gaza's borders, the reporter might trouble himself to count how many times the crossings were blown up, how many suicide bombers attempted to infiltrate Israel. It never stopped.

Hamas is hoarding fuel to create shortages, knowing how it will be reported. Nothing stopped the PA from using some its 10s of billions of dollars in foreign aid to build a few sewage treatment plants and few more generators.
