My understanding is that China via Cuba is drilling in International waters right near the coast of Fla. (Its only 90 miles to the Cuban Coast from Key West). The Gulf stream flows north and in some cases as close as 300 yards from Fla. Shore. If the Chinese do a sloppy job of it oil will likely wash up on Fla. Shores. Personally, I trust AMERICAN oil companies to be safer drillers. And yes, quite likely the Chinese will be pumping out of a common oil field. jdn
