GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: May 30, 2008 Gulf production slipped a little lower today because of declines on a number of pipelines, mainly in the Texas onshore, and particularly on Tennessee (down 62 MMcf/d) and NGPL (down 43 MMcf/d from yesterday and 96 MMcf/d from a week ago). Independence Hub and Nautilus remains shut down but will add significant supply to the market when they return. Gulf production averaged 11.9 Bcf/d in the first quarter of this year. Manta Ray said it expects to complete repairs on its system in a few weeks.

US POWER - GAS BURN REPORT: May 30, 2008 US power burn increased 1,245 MMcf today, landing at 15.7 Bcf in total. All regions except the West increased today. The Southeast increased 571 MMcf today compared to yesterday. Temperatures and Power Burn are forecasted to increase substantially over the next week. Burn for the week ending 6/5 is forecasted as 140 Bcf, 36 Bcf more than the week ending 5/29.
