Yep!

Cuba has contracted for drilling in their internationally recognized “exclusive economic zone”... same as we are or could be inside our zone.

As I said though... what oil is locked under American public lands (like the continental shelf) remains in storage there until the US public decides that it wants to get at it. (No doubt the need will be even greater for future generations.) Until then: it's safer then 'money in the bank'.

(And... I'm SURE that one day - no doubt at much higher prices - we will get around to exploiting every commercially recoverable drop that we can find....)

Meanwhile (until, say, Disney gets 'bought off' :-), there is always the Bakken and Marcellus Shales to drill! <g>

I find that very difficult to believe, considering that LNG is going for nearly twice the prevailing North American rate in Asian markets right now!
