The question is -- is Obama just a "next step" in the educating of America.
Well, he could be. But I had high hopes for his being more than that.

The shell-thin veneer of acceptance is threatened by the emergence of these polarizing figures. Obama doesn't need these at this point.
And an idiot white priest pretending to speak black is such an embarrassment when you are trying to be more than that.

And while you and I may take them as a kind of offshoot-- I think that this kind of thing strikes a chord with the tentative acceptance of a black candidate.
They don't want DIFFERENT.
They don't want separate issues.
