Neo.. historical data lacking or not, when observable facts indicated that increased solar radiation is causing climatic changes on other solar planets, those events should not be dismissed lightly..

I can make a pretty logical argument that global warming is a combination of many factors, none solely responsible.

That's why when I recommend policies related to global warming I can provide multiple rationales for pursuing them.

For example.. oceanic fertilization holds the promise of CO2 sequestration, AS WELL AS enhancing the marine food chain in order to restore depleted fisheries.

Bio-Diesel produced from Algae leads to a closed circuit CO2 system where what is released is eventually reabsorbed in the algal growing process. And it does not compete with global food production.

Thus, while I'm not convinced sequestering CO2 will have much impact on global temperatures (since Methane is a far more powerful GG), I still believe there's a benefit to doing so if it benefits the ecosystem. And of course, alt-energy isolates us from the economic risks of imported oil.
