I consider it a major problem when people latch on to speculative things, while closing their minds to well researched things. There is an enormous difference in the amount of data and science behind attribution of global warming to humans, and any links between solar cycles and weather on other solar planets. Same goes for whether oceanic fertilization is in fact miracle cure.

I've generally found that people who doubt evolution, also doubt AGW. No surprise IMO, given the inability to judge relative scientific merit of data and theory on any given subject. At least there is consistency I guess...
