It's patently obvious that Obama will have a huge focus on the inner cities in his presidency, and people like Pfleger should play a role in carrying out new programs and ideas.

But there is no reason his behavior should be countenanced in the campaign, or as a part of any acceptable national political dialogue aimed at bringing people together.

So the campaign should toss him under the bus, to be revisited later if Obama has survived the crazy preachers and won the election anyway.
