You need to be sure if the doctrine preaches violence. I have listened to both sides and it does not preach violence. I will let you look further into it.

There are other religions I know which says it is OK to lie under certain circumstances. If the Germans, who hid some Jews in their basements, and did not lie to Hitler's army, those Jews would not have been alive.
