I hope you are right. It's a simple matter for me to get along with almost anyone, and a mystery why the world cannot do likewise. That is why I opposed Clinton's 'multi-culturalism' as his policies forced it on us in the environment I worked in. I'm quite capable of coexisting with people different from me without such help. I'm all for embracing the richness of other cultures, and incorporating them into our own. I don't think it's a good idea to generate artificial multi-culturalism by fiat. That's what the Allies did when they created Iraq in the first place, and look what we have now. People will come around if you give them time. The reason that Obama got in trouble with his church affiliations is that the demagogues there tried to inflame the congregation and ended up inflaming Obama's opposition. Maybe he will develop better judgment as he goes along.
