Bob;

I guess you cannot identify a single person who thinks all we have to do is drill. Do you admit that one?

I think when Bush came into office that he and Cheney believed all we had to do was drill.

Raising the price of energy will impact the poor far more than me

In case you haven't noticed the price of oil since Bush took office has gone up about 100 dollars a barrel. He and republicans did everything they could to pump out more oil. So more of the same will help? Seems like weird logic to me. The best way to help the poor and the rich is to decrease our energy consumption - more in line with other developed countries. Increase car mileage and public transportation. Return the American dollar to some respectability. And most importantly put better effort into science for technology enhancements such as solar, wind and some of the more exciting - but further out ideas. Do that and we all win - rich and poor. We have better energy sources, and better health through less pollution.
