Frankly, I don't see what they're complaining about but then I don't know much about it. en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org German universities enjoy substantial government subsidies, so tuition fees are very moderate. The sickness funds are mandated to provide a wide range of coverages and cannot refuse membership or otherwise discriminate on an actuarial basis.
