Toby, How would you characterize the solid state laser industry? Is it a fragmented market, or do the top 3 companies have 50% or more share of market? Who are the market leaders? What are barriers to entry like? What core competencies are needed for long term success? Does the fact that Coherent manufacturers its own lasers give them much competitive advantage? Uniphase looks great. But look at its sky high PSR > 10. Coherent PSR is only 1.3. Is it possible the risks are fully discounted? SC
