A buck in China can buy more than a buck in USA. When I look at Ukraine, which has similar GDP/inh as China, their wages can buy a lot. Income may be more evenly distributed in Ukraine than in China, but I think that also applies to education, infrastructure and skills. Why do you think standard of living in Europe will drop? We love to export to China, and east Europe is a growth machine.
