Had a thought over the weekend which has changed my thinking a bit about the future. Money will continue to flow in huge amounts to the east and middle east for oil and other things.

Asia's top need going forward is going to be food and fuel. Canada and the United States can grow the most food and have the most energy if coal is considered.

So I expect asia to start buying both big time going forward. Also, as energy looks to be so expensive going forward, it may overshadow labor expenses and we may see certain manufacturing and other things like food be more competitive on a local bases?

This assumes we elect an administraiton in the fall that exercises some sort of sane economic policies. Like paying our bills instead of borrowing from asians and signing our childrens and grandchildrens names to the notes; and taxing the rich and corporations for their fair share of the cost of running a country-lol.

We need change and we need it now-lol.
