Now that is an excellent question. Along with it is a question of what our role would be. If it took 100,000 for 8 years I would say we did not accomplish the mission and I would want out. If the force ramped down rapidly to say 50,000 and they backstopped the Iraqi army - I would pay that price.

One question I have is how is the cost calculated. Is it the full cost of the 100,000 or is it the incremental cost. Meaning - if the 100,000 were in barracks in the US they would have a cost. Is their cost in Iraq incremental or total. In project accounting it would be total cost/
