Wayne: Just popping in and please forgive my O&G IGNORANCE.

The Nog hole target depth was 1200m, on Friday they reported having trouble in Limestone and only at 450 m depth making around 10 m per hour according to NOG. So I doubt we can call this a dry hole as the target was never reached although a few Oil smears showed up.

Now what I don't understand is I have read they are using a
"coil tube" rig??? Anyway, why would the Limestone be a surprise and why were they running a rig that could not handle it? Cheap shallow drilling rig I suppose but still can't figure why they
would not anticipate the type of rock. Limestone is not the hardest substance around either.

Cheers,
Ogi

Be back soon(I hope )off to meetings
