I just had a PM from somebody suggesting I ease off on curtailing people here going after one another, whether it's called an attack or whatever. My final remark in reply is worth posting for all: "It isn't hard maintaining a modicum of respect for people we post to. That is my minimum standard, and I won't back down from it just because some people want to have a food fight."
