Numbers do show that Obama has work to do when he starts campaigning for the GE in earnest. But considering how he went about campaigning and managing his campaign, he should be in a position to prevail over McCain in November, in spite of the 527's who are waiting in the wings to start their attacks on him.

I predict that the 527s will make race and religion the center of their focus. And the Obama folks will focus on "It's the economy and war stupid"
