It defies belief. They got rid of their nasty (in the words of my mother) republican governor. One of Dem governor Granholm's first acts was to raise taxes. Raise taxes ferchrissakes in a state that was already economically depressed.

As you know my mother has a land deal that has been pending now for at least 4 years. It's stalled because the economy there is so bad nothing is selling and the developer understandably doesn't want to commit to a multimillion dollar project. Yet my mother plans to vote for a guy who wants to raise her taxes even more.

Go figure.

I think this is the natural outcome of BDS. People are so sick of republican rule, they will vote for a totally inexperienced newcomer.
