[Options]

Bret --

If you were expecting the stock to rise a month out, would you wait till the Monday after options expire to buy that month's calls, or would you do it in the week leading up to expiration? I know this depends on many factors, but I'm looking at Novembers b/c I'm quite sure the GTE analyst meeting on Nov. 18 will be positive for Amati/Westell. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's a risk I'm willing to take. The big question, of course, is will the stock pull back between now and then and, if so, how much.

I know, I know, the safe thing to do is buy common. BUT, I have too much common already. Buying options is just my way of having fun while watching the grass grow.

Cheers!

Pat
