Did the Russians have a reason to lie about Saddam's intentions?

Its not reasonable to suggest we ignore warnings of attacks is it?

We get warnings all the time of possible attacks.......what makes you think the Russians are more accurate or more trustworthy than the rest?

Also remember Russia wasn't the same threat they were during the Cold War.

Wake up, Brumar. They have nearly as many nukes as they had before, they have overcome their economic problems and Putin is slowly destroying their foundling democracy.
