How many times in the last century has the VP candidate really affected the ballot?

Look how close the last two elections have been. It is almost certain that a different choice of VP candidate for either side in '00 or '04 could have changed the outcome of the election.

Putting Hillary on the ticket would create an unbeatable combo, IMO. But I don't think Obama will do it; he is just too much of a snob. He thinks he can do it on his own.
