What is interesting is that Obama has had what appears to be huge turnouts wherever he goes. That usually takes money to gather enough people to gather that many people. You can count on the groupies gathering, but the real people who have lives, and children and family events to deal with are hard to get together. IMO, this part of the Obama story will be interesting someday. On the other hand, maybe there are lots of churches like Chicago's Trinity - maybe all 8,000 of them just turn out to the events all over the country.... I agree on the JFK story....but the media LOVED them......the first US royalty in a long time.
