You make good points but we are never going to agree on this. Ad Hominem is an attack on character. The std version says they are always irrelevant. If it’s a proper argument then it’s not an ad hominem, it’s a proper argument. Do we agree <g> Or am I to understand that personal attacks are never proper arguments.
