I see that Obama has chosen Caroline Kennedy to vet Veep candidates. Don't forget that W originally chose Cheney for that same process before naming Cheney as his choice for a running mate. A trial balloon? He would pick up the Kennedy name on the ticket (with a dying Kennedy in the background) and throw a sop to women outraged by Hill not getting the nod.
