>>> How would you have stopped Khomeini from returning to Iran?

I don't know that he could have been stopped; however, I do know that we should never have tolerated the hostage crisis. Under any competent president, it would have lasted only a few days.

And when it was over, Ahmedenijad would have been dead or would certainly realize today that he cannot F*ck around with us.

Carter's mishandling of the situation clearly showed Iran and its terrorists (one of which is now its president) that America was weak and could be run over with ease. They realized, of course, that Reagan would not tolerate it.

Carter's mishandling of that situation has a lot to do with where we are today as it relates to terrorism.
