The U.S. Energy Information Administration is expected to report that 104
billion cubic feet
of gas were added to storage during week ended May 30,
according to the average prediction of 12 analysts and traders in a Dow Jones
Newswires survey.

Bloomberg: Natural Gas Advances Amid Outlook Storms, Heat to Spur Prices

Inventories of gas advanced 100 billion cubic feet last week, according to the median of 11 analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg News. The average change for the same week of the year over the past five is an increase of 98 billion cubic feet, according to U.S. Energy Department data. Supplies gained 110 billion cubic feet in the comparable week a year earlier.

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: June 4, 2008 Independence Hub production is ramping up quickly. Nominations into Tennessee Gas are up to 240 MMcf/d and likely to be revised higher in today's I2 cycle. Yesterday's zero evening noms were revised up to 159 MMcf/d in the I2. Monday's flow totaled 30 MMcf/d and 81 MMcf/d was produced on Saturday. Despite the data coming in, Enterprise waited until yesterday to confirm that the Hub had resumed production. Gulf production is still very weak at 10.4 Bcf/d, compared to 11.8 Bcf/d prior to the outage.

US POWER - GAS BURN REPORT: June 4, 2008 US power burn decreased by 652 MMcf today, landing at 22.1 Bcf in total. The Gulf and Northeast decreased the most today, down 313 MMcf and 357 MMcf respectively.Forecasted temperatures in the Northeast and Southeast are revised higher today for the next 10 days, therefore power burn forecast in these 2 regions is revised higher. Burn for the week ending 6/5 is forecasted as 141 Bcf, 37 Bcf more than the week ending 5/29.
