Excellent news for all tha patient longs........
<<im a survivor: Your question"... but who is going to give acii lacc biz NOW..." Is answered: Eaton>>
Eaton is no small fry op.....Cant also help but notice that this pr looks like it was written by somebody with intelligence, versus past PR's that all appeared to be written by a 5 year old......Looks like they are listening to shareholders...reading the mb's because not long ago, they put out that 'gag on LACC when they said they will not PR LACC info and said to look for that in their filings...knowing LACC is why almost everybody invested in ACII, that was a shocker...why tout the lacc process as they did for such a long time but then suddenly say they wont talk about it....nice to see they are now talking about the very thing people want to know about....maybe the gag order was put out awhile ago because they knew there were issues with management that we are just now seeing....I could not figure out at the time why they touted LACC as they did, but then the infamous pr saying they will not PR anything about LACC....now it makes a little sense....possibly the internal tug-o-war forced their hand to go silent..........
I do see this as good news and looks like the market does also.......And not to rain on anybodies parade, but there are still many unanswered questions.....Eaton is a nice catch for ACII.....But It is a PPAP and I hate seeing a number placed on contracts that has the words COULD be worth UP TO. COULD and UP are the the two key words. Could does not mean that it will and UP TO means they could get $1 or UP TO $1.2 mil.....so no real concrete numbers to rely on....but, I also understand they cant put an actual real number on this type of contract as they dont know how much biz eaton will give until it is done, if it is done....hopefully it is closer to $1.2 mil then $1 <lol>.....
The other issues are what is happening with this soap opera with their internal people...marc gone.....rutkowski the man...marc back..rutkowski gone.....now fighting in court and rutkowski wanting to be back...claiming he is hurt financially and bla bla bla.....We do know that Rutkowski was the man behind the patents, right? I just dont see him walking away without a bigtime fight and 'patent wars' can kill even the best of companies....it would be in acii's best interest to get this settled asap and do it in such a way that they look GOOD.......Patent disputes can last for years.....a RMBS or a qcom can weather the storm..acii cant get in to a multi year dispute over patents...imo, they need to get this settled......one other thing that doesn't make any sense....we know the patents expire soon...we know they have been working on more patents or so they say.....Well, who has been working on the patents not yet applied for? Rutkowski?? If so, it could be messy as I dont see Rotkowski walking away from his own hard work......this could be quite an ugly fight...if ACII were smart, they would take care of rutkowski and avoid another rossman scenario.....make rutkowski happy if he intends to keep acii tied up in court for years.....and GET ON WITH REAL BIZ.....
So, I do see this as good news but still think the waters will be a bit choppy until all of this is sorted out......but I am sure longs are happy seeing a real pr about LACC and nice jump in the PPS.....hopefully there will be more good to come for longs in the near future....
I myself am still not going to take a position....I will watch and see how this all plays out first..if acii is for real, there is no rush to buy imo....if it is for real then the pps should go much higher giving people plenty of time to get in and make nice gains once we see a bit more and see where all of this is heading......I'd rather buy at .25 knowing all is well and $1 is possible then risk buying now at .02 - .04 only to see things might not be well and PPS will head down due to the issues.....Good luck to all longs....
I guess my only other concern is that JM has suddenly popped up again pumping this.....does anybody see his sudden reappearance as a red flag? No answer necessary.....just thinking out loud and back to lurking from the sidelines I go... ;>) |
