This is an interesting PR. It sounds like a PPAP but it doesn't say that. And that they are being shipped for "immediate installation".
I have no idea how all this works but I'm surprised a company would install parts that are still considered "Prototype".
what is giving these last two PR's street cred. is seeing the trading volume and share price go up. And the PR's are conspicuously adhering to all the complaints we on this board have posted about what was wrong with previous PR's.
Man, I hope this keeps up.
The Oil Pipe Deal PR will really light it up!
Anyone out there hearing anything about the Oil Pipe patents and demo and negotiations. While we're watching LACC PO's and production being headlined, I just hope the Oil Pipe work is on the front burner. There is an incredible amount of Pipe production being planned world wide, especially the deep water drilling which, if LACC claims are legit, would represent a new industry standard for quality of pipe for use under extreme pressure.

PROTOTYPE

The first parts have passed quality inspection and have been shipped to OEM parts manufacturers in Michigan for immediate installation.

IMPLEMENTATION

The successful completion of the prototype production cycle could lead to a full fledged production contract of 15,000 pairs of truck axle components per year for this new 2009 truck, with production beginning in the third quarter of the calendar year 2008.
