The L1 cache is slower too you know and that's as serious. Penryn will be better in cache all the way up to 6MB

Yeah, sure, mas. I'm sure Intel decided to give Nehalem a slower cache system than Penryn. >.<

You seem to have difficulty identifying those situations in which you have insufficient data to support a claim you'd like to make. You just go along and claim it anyhow, all common sense to the contrary be damned.
