I don't drink but I often ask people going to cocktail parties what they are celebrating; on the rare occasion when there is something to celebrate, I join the festivities and drink iced tea. It seems our culture lost that notion of festive celebration of success some decades ago. Nowadays people do drugs and cocktail parties most often because they are desperately seeking approval and validation, and from what I gather in the aftermath, they are rarely successful. Personal validation comes from feelings of competency and accomplishment, from satisfaction that interests are valued and efforts are worth while ... not from drugs and alcohol. I get the impression that you are often drunk, or hung over while you are posting. Feel free to do as you wish of course. I don't drink, nor do I experience feelings of desperation...perhaps if I did, we would have more in common, but I don't, so we don't.

Have a nice day,
