Tim; Al Qaeda has been weakened greatly in Iraq. Given that Al Queda wasn't there until we opened the door for them, that they are weakened is hardly much of an accomplishment. Its strongest in Pakistan, particularly the tribal/border areas. It is apparently getting stronger there Since we suspect that this is where BinLaden is, why haven't we been able to crush this rather rag tag bunch? We have been there fighting them for going on 7 years now and you don't find it unacceptable that after 7 years they are gaining ground? steve
