I had a weird last night. Went to sleep in the recliner and the wife woke me at 10 to go to bed. Hit the rack ready to sleep and wham, I was more alert than I've been in 20 years. Things from my past running through my head like a computer down loading. Out of control. Actions, conversations, events major, minor and non events, all full of accurate details. From a when I was 5 to a 35 to a 20, all dead on. Jumped around but like I had a photographic memory. By 3 am I was cold even having changed into sweat pants and shirt and the house was 74 and I was buried under the covers. Burned that much energy thinking. Things from 40 years ago that I couldn't recall 30 years ago popped into my mind like it was 10 minutes ago. I just hope to sleep tonight.
