Different angles perhaps, but you don't gain much from pushing two different angles that are 180 degrees apart, each push canceling out the other.

I disagree with your statement that we've been going downhill since GWB became president, but that conversation really isn't about that. Assume for the sake of argument that your right about that point, and you still don't get any support for the rest of your argument.

The US needs to become less oil dependent -- period.

If that's your most important goal, than you should welcome high oil and gasoline prices.
