Where is the electricity going to come from, Snow? Last time I heard, currently 50% of the electricity in the US is fueled by coal. And about 20% of the electricity is fueled by nuclear. Here's an interesting chart.... This would mean our electric cars have to be fueled by Coal, Natural Gas and Nuclear.... Electric Power Generation Net Generation by Energy Source by Type of Producer eia.doe.gov From 1995 to October 2006 – next report out Oct 2008 Coal is 49% Natural gas is 20% Nuclear is 19% Petroleum is 1.6%
