ground on Friday as heat spreading from the South to the Midwest and Northeast
triggered strong buying despite mild western weather that again pressured
prices there, traders said.

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: June 6, 2008 Independence Hub production is expected to ramp up quickly but has been stuck in the 250s MMcf/d for three days. The hub is basically flat today at 253 MMcf/d compared to 259 MMcf/d yesterday and 251 MMcf/d on Wednesday. Nautilus is still having liquids problems, so receipts remain limited. Transco receipts remain down 140 MMcf/d this week. Manta is starting repairs on its 16-inch diameter line and expects to be done in one to two weeks. Discovery plans to expand interconnects with Transco, Tetco and Sonat.

US POWER - GAS BURN REPORT: June 6, 2008 US power burn dropped 647 MMcf today, landing at 23.9 Bcf in total. The Gulf dropped the most today, down 670 MMcf compared to yesterday. Temperature forecasts are lower today compared to yesterday, therefore the Power Burn forecast has been revised lower.Burn for the week ending 6/12 is forecasted as 176 Bcf, 33 Bcf more than the week ending 6/5.
