Maybe he is teacher's assistant. IIRC, he was in school recently, so maybe he is just starting out.

In the US, in some lower grades, they have 2 teachers in the classroom.

It never ceases to amaze me how you all miscommunicate and spin even the simplest of posts. I am doing my student teaching. Its a requirement before getting your teaching certificate. Actually, I will get mine in the mail in a few weeks.
