No one has an accurate crystal ball, but to insult the intelligence of these guys just because they can't predict the future is extremely arrogant.

in case you haven't noticed no one is insulting bob here. he's been saying that netburst had no future and was instrumental in the initial designs of what's now core2.

Any idiot can use hindsight and claim "coulda shoulda woulda," but to learn from both past successes and failures is a sign of real growth.

it's also another kind of idiot who support the ideas of other people who long ago dropped them. obviously a 10g cpu idea even today is bogus and bob likened the implementation which was supposed to do that to burning charcoal or a nuclear reactor and he changed his direction.
