AMD isn't asking for Intel advertising money just the right to sell to OEMs without financial bribes stopping them. Now you're just being silly. You think Craig Barrett walked in there with a sack full of cash? There were no bribes so AMD has to conjure them up out of the advertising subsidies and volume discounts. Anyone with half a brain can deduce that.
