Much of the rise in goods prices is coming from world wide demand - not FED pumping. While Mish is completely trapped by his adherence to a Rothbardian view of boom/bust cycles - he will almost certainly get the recession he has called for in every year since 2001.

As I mentioned to you several years ago, I don't expect the FED to try to defend the level of real wages and that almost guarantees a fairly deep and long recession soon. Was it you that mentioned a repeat of 90-92? I think it's going to be much worse than that.
