According to the WAPO-----the WAPO describes Jonas Savimbi as "brutal Angolan guerrilla leader". With friends like the WAPO who needs enemies. Savimbi was a freedom fighter for the people of Angola. Savimbi fought for the people and against the repression of the people by the opposition Communist Party with the goal of creating a government of the people and by the people----a democracy in Angola. Unfortunately, Savimbi did not live to see his dream come true. The Communist are now in control. rip Savimbi
