=====

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: June 9, 2008 Independence Hub production is up about 72 MMcf/d from levels on Friday to 331 MMcf/d. The Hub was producing 890 MMcf/d prior to the outage on April 8 and is expected to ramp back up to those levels before mid month. Gulf production is up to 10.7 Bcf/d, but that is down from more than 11 Bcf/d over the weekend mainly because of a big 180 MMcf/d drop on Tetco onshore Texas potentially due to maintenance between Angleton and Mt. Belvieu, which is restricting STX and ETX flows.

US POWER - GAS BURN REPORT: June 9, 2008 Power Burn made a swift transition from shoulder season to summer over the past week in all regions except the West (see the graph on the top of page 3.) Today's power burn should be the local maximum as temps are forecasted to decrease over the next 8 days from 78 down to 72 degrees. See the new featured analysis on the bottom of page 3 for a look at the daily capacity factor of a combined cycle plant. Burn for the week ending 6/12 is forecasted as 181 Bcf, 37 Bcf more than the week ending 6/19.
