I would have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM with giving a lifetime pension to any soldier who spent 5 years as a POW. He is getting a pension AND disability. This is about the disability. Do you support lifetime welfare for something that doesn't, presumably, exist? Unless you think he is unable to work and make a living. To the untrained eye that doesn't seem to be the case.
