To say Bush is part of the rarefied rich is simply a distortion! Apart from the old Bush family money, the Bush, Sr. oil money and the sweetheart deals Junior was levered into, I guess they aren't super rich. The clan can't be worth more than what, tens of millions, maybe a couple hundred million dollars all told? Cheney is worth that much on his own. I wasn't talking about issues so your other point is irrelevant. I was talking about attitudes and backgrounds and how people are shaped. If you can't see Bush as a rich kid, then Rove succeeded with you. Congratulations. Bush will drop by your place for a beer once he is out of office, because he plans to spend all his time with ordinary folks just shootin' the breeze. I'm sure you won't have to pay up for the $5000 a plate fundraiser he will speaking at when he actually gets near your city, if he ever does. The Bushes and the Kennedys all live in a different world from you and me. That is patently obvious.
