Birth certificates are needed for passports unless that law has been changed.

For Ann Dunham to have taken her son to Indonesia there would have had to been a passport with documentation. Remember that Hawaii was a State when Obama was born.

If Obama's father was Kenyan, then there should be a record of the birth with the embassy office. I know this from genealogical research-----where members of family had dual citizenships between England and Belgium.

This is not 1800's so the information should be there and accessible.

Obama alluded himself in his early campaign to there being some questions surrounding the recording of the marriages and his birth. (May have been in his book------although I seem to remember it was in the first few months of his campaign in 2007 as an oh yeah statement.) .

No information should be withheld------Americans have the right to know-----we are electing the President of the United States of America and not some country where elections don't exist.
