You are correct sir! I figured that out after I built this home. On the down side, doing it that way is a lot more work. Another issue was that I built the house alone so having walls that stood up on their own was a big plus.

If I blocked off the vents to the outside and sealed the windows I probably COULD heat the house with a candle. We never had a month over 99 ccf NG usage last winter, and are in Michigan.
